These panels add one more thing to consider when designing your home or building.  When designing your trusses we can add a Solar Ready Factor into the design, meaning your roof will be designed to accommodate the added loading for solar panels at a minimal cost. If the decision to add solar panels to a roof that has not been designed with this design it may require a private engineer to study your trusses and make reinforcement recommendations to allow for the added load, resulting in a added cost.
